OP2 years agoThanks, I went to that page, but they say to send them an email, which I've already done BUT no one contacts me, and there are serious bugs on the site
Ebay is becoming less and less reliable, I think, they treat sellers a bit lightly, I read a lot of comments saying the same

I asked Ebay 5 times to contact me about VAT ...no call back, this is not the first time my requests have gone unanswered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I spoke with the French tax authorities, the VAT number is not given to certain companies like micro-enterprises or self-employed workers .....But Ebay insists
The tax authorities are asking me for an Ebay document confirming this request for a VAT number .....Impossible to give them Ebay doesn't reply .....In 21 years on Ebay I have never seen such an attitude toward sellers .............I don't understand this behavior

are you talking about the intra-community VAT number?
Because if that's what you mean, even micro-businesses have to have one in certain circumstances.

In other words, if the amount of your intra-community cross-border sales exceeds 10,000 euros per year (across all platforms combined), you must ask your SIE for an Intra-community VAT number.
