Good evening, how can I know if eBay can cancel a sale or if it's the buyer?
Summary: juliette83000 expressed concern about an order being canceled by eBay, saying that although the buyer paid late, they usually pay for their purchases. The buyer asked juliette83000 to contact eBay, because the order was canceled for non-payment. koalagris explained that if the eBay account is set up to automate cancellations for payments not received, eBay can indeed cancel the sale. He also mentioned that it is no longer possible to reinstate a cancellation once it has been made.
I receive a message from another username used than my buyer, the buyer in question is regular and even though he sometimes takes a while to pay, he does.... his purchase dates from last April 26.... he tells me he's not happy because I supposedly canceled his order, but that's false, I go into my sales and see that the purchase was canceled for non-payment by the buyer.... how can I sort this out? so ebay can have done it?
he asks me to contact ebay because in this case he has a payment default.... thank you for your help
very cordially

Mentor4 months agoGood evening @juliette83000 ,
"so ebay can do it?"
Yes, if you’ve set up your ebay account to automatically cancel unpaid orders:
https://www.ebay.fr/help/selling/getting-paid/rsoudre-les-litiges-pour-objet-non-pay-avec-les-acheteurs?id=4137&st=3&pos=1&query=R%C3%A9soudre%20les%20litiges%20pour%20objet%20non%20pay%C3%A9%20avec%20les%20acheteurs&intent=objet%20non%20pay%C3%A9&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1091#section2
There’s nothing left that can be done about cancellations that have already been made...
Buyers know they have 4 days to pay, they also receive reminders from the site about it = they need to keep that in mind.
Best regards
