Invalid return slip
Summary: ayr7foi7 explains that the seller had initially agreed to provide a free return for a defective item, but sent a return slip that was incompatible with French postal practices. The seller is now asking ayr7foi7 to cover the return costs. ayr7foi7 is looking for advice on opening a dispute because the option no longer seems available. madelodie suggests creating a return slip through the carrier’s website and submitting a return request for a non-compliant item by opening a dispute, if the purchase was made less than 30 days ago.
Hello,
Since the item is defective, the seller first accepted my request for a free return (to Great Britain). But he sent me a return label that is unusable in France (QR code, whereas the Post Office only uses barcodes). After promising to send me a new label, he is now demanding that I return the item at my own expense.
I would like to open a dispute, but the option no longer appears in the "Purchased items", the "Order details", or the "Return details"...
How do I do this, please?
Kind regards.

·2 years agoHello,
there is no return label if the purchase was made abroad.
Create one yourself on the carrier's website, La Poste in this case.
You make a return request (if the purchase was less than 30 days ago) by opening a dispute for an item not as described. At the bottom of this page "Help".
Best regards.
