with your individual status and all the savings you're making, I think you'll bounce back quickly...
Start by reviewing your shipping costs to avoid stupidly losing money on top of that. Because the green letter rate at 1.08, 1.16 or 1.29 has not existed for quite some time now...

Taking a photo showing a card in an envelope is no guarantee that the card will still be there when the envelope is sealed or when it is sent...
Only an official bailiff's report could provide irrefutable proof... but the cost of their intervention would far exceed the value of the card.
If a sneaky buyer wants to pull a fast one on you... they'll succeed almost every time....
The best thing is to plan for a "loss and profit" account in your business that would serve to absorb this kind of mishap.
