Change the return conditions for an item

Hello,
I recently accepted a return from a buyer, but after discussing it with them, we agreed on a partial refund, and without returning the item (it is defective, so there is no point in my paying to have it sent back just to get rid of it).
But I can't find any option to change the refund. I can only send a shipping label, or refund the full price of the item.
I found a help page saying to go to the Seller Hub, but I don't have the option to ask eBay to step in since the return has already been accepted.
So how can I modify the return and change it from a full refund to a partial refund with no return of the package?
