Hello, I bought an item from a seller through EBAY where free delivery was indicated. Upon delivery they are asking me for customs fees apparently, I refuse, and today I don't have my item worth ~20 € it has been paid for, I don't have an invoice, the carrier UPS is asking me for €13.18 I notified the seller that I refuse the item, no news, how can I get a refund...

OP2 years agoIf anyone knows how to contact EBAY, I'd be happy to have the contact details, but I stand by it: EBAY hides behind its sellers and therefore condones wrongdoing; hiding customs fees is fraud. EBAY are nothing but scammers who don't respond. Hurry up and put an end once and for all to the internet scammers...

Customs fees have nothing to do with shipping fees ..You are liable for this tax for any purchase outside the EU

Check with the seller for a refund when he has gotten his part back.

from the moment you buy outside the EU you are responsible for customs fees.
Free delivery lives up to its name and is independent of customs duties.

OP3 years agoHello, I can understand that but eBay must stipulate to us upon purchase the total additional costs written in black and white like free delivery.

shipping is clearly indicated in the listings .
When you open the listing , under the title " Shipping " .
It can't be done any better ...
It's not e Bay that lists all the terms but the seller .
