SWIFT26 code impossible to use with eBay balance – are you having the same problem?

I'm having a problem with the promo code SWIFT26 and I’d like to know if other members have run into the same situation.
When I made my purchase, my eBay balance was automatically selected as the payment method. I wanted to use SWIFT26 and therefore select my bank card or PayPal, but those payment methods were greyed out.
When I try to select them anyway, eBay displays the message: “The total amount of the order is covered by the selected payment method(s).”
I was therefore forced to complete the order with my eBay balance, without being able to benefit from the discount.
Have you ever encountered this problem with an available eBay balance?
Were you able to use SWIFT26 in this situation?

The best thing to do is to report this "problem" directly to customer service. There is very little traffic on this forum and you may not get any response.
