Undelivered parcel
Summary: emma.begu expressed frustration about a package ordered on eBay that was not delivered despite several proposed delivery dates. The seller offered a partial refund, but the communications seemed automated. emma.begu is asking for a full refund and compensation for the time lost. *miss-tigri* advised opening a dispute to get a refund, while koalagris pointed out that compensation for lost time was not possible outside of legal action.
I contact the seller for an explanation about the tracking, which keeps changing and is therefore unreliable. The seller apologizes and tells me that he will carry out an investigation in order to give me information. Since then, I have had no news about my package and I am being offered a refund of 20% of the total amount, or about 5 euros. I also note that the replies sent by email look more like messages generated by artificial intelligence and therefore standard responses that do not answer my requests. Today, I asked for a full refund but also compensation for the time I lost waiting for my package. As you know, time is money. The seller tells me that it will be complicated to compensate me for the time he made me lose or to place a new order, on the grounds that they have processed the refund of the 5 euros. Do you think it is logical and normal not to give any more news about my package since March 19 and to wait so long to be fully refunded without any compensation for all the inconvenience caused?
In my opinion, this seller does not deserve to be among the best sellers on eBay after my experience. Finally, it is very complicated to get in touch with customer service by phone and by email. So I am forced to come to the forum to ask for intervention to help me find a solution to this dispute, and I plan to contact the mediator if I do not get a satisfactory response.

Hello ??? 😕
"but also compensation for the time I lost waiting for my parcel" = forget it, that notion doesn't exist outside a courtroom...
the refund via ebay can't be more than the amount initially paid.

Starting the day after the delivery deadline, you can open a dispute for an item not received and get a refund..
Follow the procedure:
https://www.ebay.fr/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/obtenir-de-laide-pour-un-objet-qui-nest-pas-arriv?id=4042&st=7
And don't let yourself be lulled to sleep by the seller's sweet talk ..
