Perfect condition package but damaged contents
Summary: mehdneutra0 bought figurines in the United States, but received 4 damaged out of 22. Hello,
I bought figurines from a seller in the United States. The package was in perfect condition. But when unwrapping the figurines, 4 out of 22 are broken.
I informed the seller, whose only response was to tell me to make a claim to Ebay for "damages and interest"
Unfortunately, there is no mention of such a procedure.
What can I do without having to return the package to the United States since the shipping costs are extremely high? (Also, I had another problem: I had to pay VAT twice, the carrier not having been informed that I had already paid it at the time of purchase)

OP1 year agoI knew it was going to be complicated... And by filing a dispute on Paypal, can I get anywhere with that?
I already sent the photos to the seller...

There’s no other solution than to send the whole thing back for a full refund if the seller refuses to make a partial refund of their own accord, by proving the damage (send them photos).
Regarding VAT, if it was paid twice, see this procedure:
