Hello everyone, I’m posting here because I’m a bit stuck with a delivery problem, and neither UPS nor eBay are giving me any concrete answer. I shipped a parcel to a buyer in Switzerland using a UPS label purchased directly through eBay.The parcel got stuck at a UPS center in France, then was eventually returned to me with no explanation. The buyer had already paid the customs fees, so everything seemed to be in order.I contacted UPS several times (by phone and by email): They tell me the case has been “escalated,” but no one calls me back. At one point, they told me a VAT number was missing... except that I’m a private individual, not a business, so I don’t have a VAT number to provide. And yet I did everything correctly: Invoice + customs documents inside and outside the parcel, UPS label properly attached, Information on the eBay declaration was correct. Today, I’m left with: The parcel back at my place, No refund for the shipping fees, And no solution to send it again to the buyer without having to pay for a new label. UPS is not helping me at all, so I’m trying to find out whether anyone here has ever had a similar case with a UPS label bought via eBay, and how it was resolved. Can eBay intervene directly with UPS? Is there a way to get a refund or a new label at no cost? And what about the refund of customs duties for the buyer, since the parcel was never delivered?
