Order not received but refund refused

Summary: brerol_10 ran into a problem with an eBay order: the package, which arrived earlier than expected, was sent back as unclaimed, and the refund was refused by the seller and eBay. madelodie advised using the “eBay Customer Guarantee” and tracking packages with the carrier. koalagris pointed out that delivery dates on eBay are approximate and suggested politely discussing with the seller a partial refund or a reshipment.

I ordered a book on eBay on December 26. eBay told me it would be delivered on January 4. I went to the Relay point on January 6 and was told that my order had arrived on December 29 and had been sent back. I asked the seller and eBay for a refund, saying that I had not been notified on December 29. The seller Velipages replied that he would refund me if I changed my negative rating, which is blackmail. And eBay refused to refund me, arguing that my order had been delivered. So I consider myself robbed by the seller and eBay, who are passing the buck to Mondial Relay, which tells me it is not their fault. I don't see what I can do.
