Lost order
Summary: huissier.morin ran into a problem with a book order for his daughter via eBay, where the parcel is nowhere to be found at the pickup point even though it is marked as delivered. The seller claimed that the book had been sent back because it wasn’t collected, something huissier.morin disputes. Despite opening a dispute, no solution was found, and huissier.morin is looking for advice on how to get the book or a refund. *miss-tigri* says that only the seller can resolve the problem, either by resending the book or by requesting compensation if the parcel is lost.
Hello,
I have a problem with a book order I made on ebay for Christmas for my daughter.
My daughter went to the pickup point three times at the time when the order was supposed to be there, and each time the order was nowhere to be found, even though it was marked as arrived on ebay.
I therefore contacted the seller to tell him that the order had not arrived at the pickup point. He told me that after contacting Mondial relai they had told him that the book had indeed arrived at the pickup point but had been sent back without anyone claiming it. Which is absolutely false.
For more than two months now, every time I contact the seller about this order, he tells me that the book is still with Mondial relai. I get the impression that he's not really making much effort to recover the order.
I opened a dispute but it doesn't give anything more.
How can I finally get this book or get a refund?
If the book is really stuck somewhere in the Mondial relai network for more than two months, I imagine the seller has some recourse against Mondiel relai on this matter, so that he can either recover this order as quickly as possible, or get refunded if Mondial relai lost the order.
Has there ever been delivery problems with Mondial? Have other people already had problems with Mondial relai?
I would like to know how to get out of this Kafkaesque situation.
Thank you.

Mentor2 years agoGood evening
On eBay, you no longer have any recourse ..only the seller can (if they’re willing) refund you or resend your purchase (against payment of new shipping fees) .
The seller can ask the carrier for compensation if the parcel is declared lost ...
