how to send an article internationally
I have all the difficulties in sending a coilis to Japan, my customer chose shipping by happy post.
except there is no link between ebay and happy post. I had an ebay representative who confirmed to me that it is not the buyer who decides their shipping method !!!!!! how can I know in advance which shipping method I should choose in the description?

Happy Post is an intermediary that takes your shipment and sends it to your buyer (of course, it shouldn’t be free... philanthropy is not part of this rule of the game...)
Ship normally by Colissimo, UPS, or another carrier depending on the size and weight of your package... Stay with the classic and simple option for a shipment abroad... intermediaries are far too often a source of trouble to be worth favoring...
Your buyer, as @koalagris and another member told you, must choose the shipping method that you offer and pay the corresponding price... (always with tracking... whatever the shipment...)
Best regards

Hello ??? 😕
"how can I know in advance which shipping method I should choose in the description?" = rhetorical question, I suppose...
Your eBay contact is right: the buyer has to choose a shipping method from the ones offered in the listing when completing their purchase; they don't get to impose their own afterward (besides, how much did they actually pay for shipping?)
If the price works out, please note that it is perfectly possible for the seller to buy their shipping label directly on the carrier's website (there is no obligation to go through eBay's postage platform), then enter the tracking number on the eBay order.
