Hello, I’m seeing more and more Ebay listings that are completely misleading about the number of items sold for a single purchase. The “trick” is to photograph several items in one photo and then add a very vague listing description about what is actually being sold. You then think you’re buying everything shown in the photo, only to actually receive just one item, which you’ve usually paid far too much for! The worst part is that some unscrupulous sellers seem to make a specialty of this kind of “deception” A perfect example here: eBay item number What we see in this listing: * 4 pieces in each photo * In the item specifics, a seller comment that says: “see photo”* A minimalist listing, in which it is by no means obvious that in reality only one piece is being sold per purchase. For me, there is clearly an intention by the seller to deceive the buyer. It is not normal for this listing to remain online on Ebay. For info, this kind of misleading quantity listing is immediately “killed” on Le **bleep**. But on Ebay there’s no way to report it: I tried with a standard report, but there is no category like “quantity deception” or “the photo does not match what is being sold”, I tried reporting it under another reason with a clear description of the problem, but the Ebay robot wants none of it and rejects the report ! So my question is: what is the process for reporting this kind of misleading listing that really harms Ebay’s reputation. Thanks
