Sharing the buyer's email address
Hello, during an order the seller tells me that the carrier is asking him for my email address.
Is this normal and should I give it to him safely, knowing that normally the buyer's email address is transmitted during the transaction. Thank you for your feedback.

the email addresses that sellers receive are encrypted by eBay. They are of the type: 27c5e57fb2499461a(at)members.ebay.com
Some carriers do not accept them, so your seller has no other choice but to ask you for it.

It does sometimes happen that not all the info gets passed on...
and this last one needs it to notify you about the delivery.
