Hello,
A buyer wants to complete an order placed with several other items so that there is only one payment to make. He doesn’t know how to do it, and neither do I.

Thanks for your reply, which doesn’t quite solve my problem. The order my buyer wants to complete is pending payment. Even if the buyer adds items to their cart, how can I combine them with those from the initial order? The only solution I can see is to cancel the order and have the buyer put all the items in their cart. What do you think?

As long as you follow the instructions given in the link sent, the buyer will be able to ask you for a combined invoice for all these purchases added to their cart.
However, note that this feature seems to be "absent" for those who use the mobile app.
As you sell stamps, you may run into this problem again. So set up your listings with "rules for fixed shipping costs":

That way, the discounts will be applied automatically and your buyers won't even need to ask you for combined shipping anymore.
