Account permanently blocked, I want to cancel my orders but I would be penalized. What should I do?
Summary: collector_treasures expressed frustration about their eBay account suspension, which led to longer payment delays and punitive selling conditions. francexpressdeal replied by advising against duplicate posts and to be careful about using a second account, since it could be linked to the restricted account. collector_treasures clarified that the original issue was resolved after they found out that customer service had given them incorrect information, and they deleted a listing they had posted impulsively.
Hello,
My account was permanently restricted after I made a few sales that I haven't shipped yet. My payout timeframe changed from instant to 60 days (that's what they said), but I saw online that they could take 180 days or more.
This doesn't match the conditions under which I sold my items. Unfortunately, the only cancellation options I have left are all penalizing. I asked eBay's security team customer service, and they told me that since I'm the one refusing the new conditions imposed on eBay because of my restriction, I'm the one in the wrong.
Is there anyone else I can escalate this to? Am I in the wrong? Are there any solutions?

Mentor3 years agoHello @collector_treasures
no need to multiply the posts ...

Take your payment issue directly to customer service.
Just one thing:
You have another account (also personal ...) on which you have already started moving your items from the restricted account.
Don't be too hopeful that Ebay will quickly make the connection with the one that is already restricted.
In a situation like yours, the forum won't be of any help ...

OP3 years agoActually, the topic was different since it was about a product cancellation, which is why I assumed this new post was justified.
Fortunately, the information relayed by customer service resolved the issue, and the information relayed by eBay's trust and safety department was false. It was confusing.
As for the other account, I admit that the only new product I put online was listed in anger, it has been removed now.
Thanks for the reply, I would have forgotten about this article if you hadn't reminded me about it.
