Hacked buyer account
I sold a bag for a significant amount yesterday afternoon. I dropped it off at a pickup point this afternoon and contacted the buyer directly to confirm the shipment.
The buyer just replied to me that his account had been hacked… So he didn’t buy my bag… How can I get my bag or my money back (we’re talking about 1700 euros after all)…?

In general, hackers do not do this to buy/spend but to sell and thus get the money back cheaply...
Since you shipped, that means eBay was paid and gave you the green light to ship.
- the bag should normally be received by the buyer.... if not, it will be returned to you after 8 to 15 days, that depends on the carrier's storage time...
For all practical purposes, you should be able to contact eBay and ask whether it is true that this account was hacked.. they have the means to check..
eBay customer service to contact preferably during office hours and ask to be called back.
