Challenge to KSP law firm's request for incognito payments
Summary: adabb-2752 expressed concerns about a payment request for EUR 406.74 related to eBay, stating that no transaction had been made on their account. Participants advised contacting eBay customer service in Switzerland, given that adabb-2752 is registered in that country. Another participant suggested verifying the legitimacy of the claim with the law firm involved and mentioned the possibility of a transaction as a "guest" not recorded on the eBay account. Doubts were expressed about the validity of the claim.
I am writing to contact you regarding the payment request in the amount of EUR 406.74 (Ref. EE2511376) related to eBay Marketplaces.
After checking, I can see that no purchase was made on my eBay account. My son, who is 13 years old, has not made any transaction, and I myself have never authorized or made any purchases corresponding to this amount.
I would therefore kindly ask you to provide me with clarification regarding the origin of this claim and to cancel this payment request if no valid proof of purchase can be provided.
I remain available for any further information and thank you in advance for your diligence.
Kind regards.

Whichever the country.... for a payment demand/claim, you need a document proving the validity of the request and not just a case number...
Instead of contacting ebay... do what’s necessary with this law firm to find out more and learn the name and contact details of the person handling the case...
On the other hand, the fact that you don’t have a purchase record on your ebay account does not prove that there wasn’t a transaction. It may have taken place outside ebay as a "visitor"... Your email inbox and spam folder should then have received an acknowledgement receipt email.
But.... it’s surprising that a law firm would be demanding a sum from you as an ebay buyer without a dispute for non-payment having first been opened before this action...
- indeed, in the event of non-payment, nothing is shipped...
only a problem would appear on the account if the transaction was made through it and, in the event of repeated offenses, you can’t buy from many sellers...
It would be good to find out what this firm’s authority is and on what grounds it is demanding money from you..
In my opinion... this smells fishy.. !
