Counteroffer not submitted ??
Hello,
I received an offer for an item for sale. I sent a counteroffer, and after 2 days, my link to this offer is blocked, showing me the initial offer again without any way to respond. Apparently, my counteroffer was not taken into account. What should I do??

Offers and counteroffers are only valid for 48 hours, so yours simply expired (either the seller was away or they didn't want to respond to it).

And why is eBay sending me the initial offer again?

Mentor2 years agoThe buyer (I wrote "seller" by mistake in my initial reply 😒) has apparently made a second offer (at the same amount as the first).

OP2 years agoI don't think so because I don't have access to "reply" in the email or on eBay messages, and it says the offer deadline has passed.
Well, maybe he'll get back in touch!

OP1 year agoStill no satisfactory response. Let’s hope the person who made the offer will understand that I didn’t refuse, I just made a counteroffer that disappeared from the data (maybe I made a mistake too??)
