Starting a business, need help
Summary: laboutiqueauxlegos is having trouble changing their personal account to a business account on eBay after receiving their SIRET number for their micro-business. Hello to the whole community
I’m reaching out to you because I’m really stuck; I submitted a request to open a micro-business a little over a week ago, and I received my SIRET number this morning.
I wanted to change my personal account to a business account, but when I enter my bank details, even though they are already saved and confirmed, eBay rejects my account, here is the message: This bank account could not be verified. Please select another payment method.
How should I proceed? I can’t get in touch with eBay customer service at all, neither by chat nor by phone, I’m blocked on all sides.
Could a kind soul help me?

Nothing to do with the lack of a reminder, which must be due to an issue with the number (check what is saved on your ebay account), or else a call filter you may have activated on your phone...

OP1 year agoIn the end, someone replied to me, but now I have another problem: the bank account that has normally been linked to this eBay account for years and confirmed is being refused; at this rate, I’m just one step away from being forced to open a new bank account...

please contact customer service again about this new problem.
That said, it is still preferable to have a bank account exclusively set aside for your professional activity. Note that beyond a certain annual turnover amount, it is mandatory. See this link:

Indeed, I had to open a new bank account, for now it will just be a personal account but only for the sales of my micro-business.
I still have to wait for the 2 micro-transfers sent to this bank account in order to validate it, so for now I can't put anything up for sale.
