Hello everyone 🙂
In July 2020, I had a heart attack and ended up in the ER. Long story short, I spent 9 months in the hospital, much of it paraplegic, unable to move from my bed.
After that, rehabilitation continued at home, and I recently thought (September 2023) that I could put a few items up for sale on eBay (I can't work, times are tough)...
Then I discover that I can no longer list items for sale, that my seller performance is insufficient (well, if you want to put it that way), and that after email exchanges with eBay (which only sends canned responses, apparently without having looked at my account or my explanations) they tell me that it's final!!!
Insufficient sales volume? Well, obviously...
A few unshipped sales? From a hospital bed with tubes everywhere, and hooked up to a pacemaker, then completely paralyzed, it's true that it's complicated...
I obviously have all the necessary medical proof.
If someone can help me, that would be wonderful... Is mediation possible?

You have an excellent profile as a seller, which makes me think there is confusion or "lack of understanding" on the part of the people you dealt with.
The dates you give (in hospital in 2020...) and then trying to reactivate now... make me think that between those 2 dates, something happened that disrupted many sellers---> Set up and change your payment method for selling fees and charges | eBay
If this hasn't been done, you can't list items because eBay refuses to send the listings...

If you haven't actually updated your payment methods because you weren't aware you needed to, you should explain that to him and he should be able to help you out.

OP3 years agoHello, already done, but a canned response along the lines of "to ensure that ebay remains a trusted space for everyone..." well, you get the idea. I got back in touch to provide more details, still the same thing and no justification, you'd think they don't really read the message... On top of that, in the last reply, they told me there was no point in contacting them again, that they wouldn't reply anymore!!! A lot of contempt, no solution...
