Tax return
Summary: hezeg-0 is looking for advice on the tax reporting of online sales, especially regarding occasional sales on eBay and the sale of digital codes, while receiving RSA. They are wondering about the implications for reporting to the CAF and the appropriate tax regime, micro-BIC or another. lingma85 and koalagris suggest contacting the tax authorities directly and provide online resources, although the links were censored. koalagris emphasizes the importance of consulting the authorities for specific advice about their seller status.
Hello,
I have a few questions about taxation, especially in connection with an urgent situation.
We are currently on RSA, and both of us have disabling conditions. My spouse is recognized as RQTH, and for me the recognition process is underway.
We sold goods on the eBay platform during the year 2023 and found that sales between private individuals could be subject to taxation.
We also sold digital codes.
Here are my questions:
1. The tax website says that if sales are occasional, they are not taxable, but the information is still sent to the tax authorities if you exceed 30 transactions.
Do these sales need to be reported to CAF in our quarterly declaration if they are not considered professional?
2. If our activity is recognized as professional, do we need to declare it under the micro-BIC regime? I saw that there is also the non-professional micro-BIC regime. Do we have to register as a business if we declare turnover in this framework?
3. How do you declare non-professional micro-BIC to CAF?
4. What should people who have an occasional activity do, for example only two weeks in the year?
Thank you very much for your help,
I wish you a good weekend

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @hezeg-0
The specific features of your situation make any answer a bit of a minefield, so the best thing would be to check directly with the tax office and the CAF, who will be able to give you all the info.
As for your status as a seller: as soon as you buy these keys to resell them, it is a commercial act from the very first transaction (we are not talking about clearing out your closets here).

The answer to your questions can be found here--------> Beneficiaries of the active solidarity income (RSA): do you have to declare your online sales (**bleep**, Ebay or **bleep**…) ? - DBKM AVOCATS (dbkm-avocats.com)
and also here-------> **bleep**, **bleep**, Ebay… Sales on the internet count for the allocation of RSA (lefigaro.fr)

It seems that the bot didn't like your links.... 😞
Have a good evening 😉

Mentor2 years agoIndeed... replacing important words in an even more important link with "bleep"... doesn't help....
I don't particularly have anything against certain censorships.... but when stupidity gets involved.... it looks like the height of concentrated stupidity... !
good evening to you too..
PS...
All that's left is to do a search on the web with the remaining words....
