Refund processing times after a cancellation

Hello,
I bought a very valuable item, after a few exchanges with the seller (who still doesn’t seem to be a scam even today) But he asked me to cancel the order so we could find another delivery method. So I did, I cancelled it citing the delivery method, since then I’ve been waiting for the seller to approve this request so I can get my €800 refunded.
How long does he have to accept the cancellation request? It’s already been 3 days that I’ve been waiting, knowing that I’m not going to receive the item and that I have €800 less in my account lol
