Request for advice on action against seller
Summary: raf_2975 won an item at auction, paid for it, and saw the order canceled by the seller on the pretext of a request from the buyer that he never made. The seller is not responding, and the item has been relisted at a higher price. raf_2975 is looking for advice, as eBay support is insufficient. lingma85 replies that this is a typical case, and that he will be refunded, but suggests letting the matter go.
I’m turning to you because I’ve found myself at a dead end.
I won an item at auction. I made the payment and the order was confirmed. Then, out of nowhere, the order is canceled by the seller. The reason for the cancellation is: "cancellation requested by the buyer" even though I never, under any circumstances, asked for the cancellation. The cancellation request is closed immediately and I can’t seem to get heard.
I contact the seller. No response. Then I notice a very similar listing to the auction one, with exactly the same cover photo on **bleep** for a price 20 euros higher than the auction I had won. I contact the seller again to ask for an explanation (with a link to the **bleep** listing). No response.
I don’t know what steps to take; eBay’s help isn’t clear.
I would need help with what to do next. I admit this is my first experience of this kind.
Waiting for your advice.
Thank you for your attention.

A very classic case...
Unfortunately you can’t do anything anymore -
- you will be refunded the amount you paid...
Forget this bad experience and move on.
Best regards
