Hello, this is the first time I’ve sold on EBay and the buyer is asking me to send my PayPal address to his mobile number or to send him a payment request to his PayPal address. Isn’t this a scam? He says that the PayPal address in the EBay conversation thread doesn’t work. That seems odd to me. Can you help me? Thanks, best regards
Given the amount of the item, it is more than likely that this is a scam.
Above all, do not make any off-site transaction for this sale.
You have a profile with 0 feedback and you may well get quite a few similar offers. If in doubt, feel free to come back to the forum or contact eBay customer service directly.
Thank you very much for this feedback. So for any interested buyer, I ask that the transfer be made through EBay, which will then make the transfer to the bank account I registered? Is that right?
You don't need to specify that the transfer must be made to ebay, the site automatically requests payment from the buyer, who will choose one of the payment methods offered by ebay.

for your sale, your buyers have different payment methods available:
Whichever payment method is chosen, this amount will go through eBay before being paid to you by bank transfer.
Please note that as a new seller, you will need to allow at least 14 days.

Since scam attempts are numerous,be careful.
