Feedback request
Summary: tami_796 has initiated a return request for an unsuitable vacuum hose. The seller asked for a photo of the vacuum cleaner’s rating plate via Ebay messages, but tami_796 can’t manage to send the photo. madelodie advises following the official procedure for a non-conforming item, and lingma85 explains that the rating plate is the serial number, which makes it possible to confirm the vacuum cleaner model. This approach could also verify that it is not a counterfeit.
Good evening everyone,
I recently started a return request for a vacuum hose that didn’t match the model I own. I contacted the seller via a return request on the site, explaining the problem and including photos as proof, and he is asking me for a photo of the vacuum cleaner’s nameplate and to send it to him, I quote, 'via Ebay messages, not here'...
Do you know what he means? I tried sending the photo via the 'reply' button on his message, unfortunately I can’t attach a photo.
Is he trying to 'run me around' so he won’t have to refund me?
Thanks in advance for your help 🙂

You are asking about the meaning of-------> "the vacuum cleaner's nameplate "....
It is the serial number located above the handle.
You should be able to find the tutorial to discover it on Google (locate serial number..)
This request is made to know whether you did indeed have a device of the brand and to find you the right hose for the right model and maybe to see whether it is not a counterfeit....
Kind regards
