Request for a return on a sold item whose phone may have been dropped or left in the sun, red screen
Hello,
I'm a seller and I sold a phone in perfect working order and 3 weeks later I was contacted again
for a refund because it no longer charges and it shows a red screen, I've never seen that before.
He must have dropped it or left it in the sun and now he's asking for a refund on an item that no longer works because of his own fault, what should I do because I see that eBay only protects buyers

And yes: the dispute period is 30 days from the delivery date, which is, in fact, kind of the after-sales service period. 😕
Since it will be impossible to prove who what and when, you have understood everything by writing "ebay protects only buyers"....
Here are the only possibilities, for the seller, offered in the T&Cs:
https://www.ebay.fr/help/selling/managing-returns-refunds/rpondre-une-demande-de-retour-en-tant-que-vendeur?id=4115&st=3&pos=2&query=R%C3%A9pondre%20%C3%A0%20une%20demande%20de%20retour%20en%20tant%20que%20vendeur&intent=demande%20retour&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1113
If needed: contact link to customer service at the very bottom of the help page.
Best regards
