I'm an individual who sells from time to time and I'm being asked for a SIREN number as if I were a professional seller

You are constantly selling brand-new cosmetics, which is clearly a professional activity (we’re far from the seller who clears out their closets, or their attic).
The site is therefore asking you to bring your seller status into compliance, and to declare yourself as a professional (especially for tax purposes):

Mentor2 years agoPersonally, I don't have any problem, but understand that this would be unusual for a private seller, hence the site's (justified) message.
Anyway: I'll let you sort it out with eBay...
