Hello, I just bought a 450e product from Japan and destined for France. I paid import VAT at the time of purchase on eBay of 90-something euros and FedEx is now asking me to pay import VAT of 120 euros as well. Is this an error on their part or just a misunderstanding on my part? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply! I paid an "Import Tax" of $93.5 at the time of purchase of the product on eBay, then after confirmation of the shipment a few hours later, FedEx in turn informs me that my package is subject to import charges. Composed of: €12 of "Import Duty", €93 of "Tax (VAT)", and €18 of "Disbursement fees" for a total of €123. In any case, I will pay the carrier so that the package can continue its delivery and then turn to eBay if there is an error somewhere
