Subject: Dispute of refund request – parcel shipped in accordance with eBay instructions Dear Sir or Madam, I am disputing the refund request imposed on me regarding transaction no. [transaction number] relating to the sale of [item description]. I shipped the parcel on [shipping date] using the carrier offered through your platform, to the address provided during the transaction, namely: [address listed on eBay] I am attaching to this letter the proof of drop-off as well as the shipping receipt stating this address. The parcel was not delivered on the grounds of an “incorrect address”. The carrier tracking states precisely: “Delivery impossible – Incorrect address” on 05/02/2026 at 09:48 in Missaglia (LC), then “Delivery failed and the parcel arrived at the return center” on 16/02/2026 at 09:57 in Francolino - Carpiano (MI). However, this error cannot be attributed to me since: I used exactly the address entered on eBay; I complied with the shipping method and carrier provided; I had no other information allowing me to correct or modify the address. Under these conditions, I consider that I have fulfilled all of my obligations as a seller. The loss or non-delivery of the parcel results either from an error in the address provided by the buyer, or from a carrier malfunction. I therefore ask you to reconsider your decision and cancel the refund request at my expense. Failing a favorable response within 15 days, I will be forced to contact a consumer association as well as the relevant services responsible for mediation and consumer protection.
