eBay code with your feet

I tried to buy 4 oil filters with Buy It Now, I receive a message saying that the listing has a problem and that they need to verify my account. I have to receive a message with a 6-digit code, which I do receive, then I have to validate it, so far: no problem; then I am redirected to this page: https://www.riskremedyweb.ebay.fr/rrw?clientUsecase=SCR, which asks me again to validate a 6-digit code, except that I can only enter 4, not 6, and so I get the message, invalid code obviously...
"Ebay really seems to be coded with its feet..."
If someone can help me or explain the problem, that would be good, I think.
