eBay versus sellers!
Summary: bramabiau expresses frustration about eBay, pointing out that the platform is no longer beneficial for sellers because of unfair rating systems that can damage their reputation and sales. koalagris shares links to delete an eBay account, much to bramabiau’s annoyance, who replies that he didn’t ask for help. lingma85 questions bramabiau’s consistency by noting that he still continues to sell on eBay despite his criticism. The tone of the exchange becomes tense, with comments about the participants’ experience and the legitimacy of their advice.
Ebay is no longer an interesting marketplace for sellers, even the most serious ones, because it very easily penalizes "sellers" through ratings that are absolutely not fair !!! A buyer can be unscrupulous and is allowed to leave a negative rating very easily, and in return you have no option at all !!! On top of that, a rating dramatically lowers your satisfaction rate; for example, in my case, with one negative rating I go from 100% to 92%, which has an immediate impact on my future sales! That means that to get back to a 100% trust level, I’ll have to sell my items at a discount because the opposite is not true: a new positive rating will not bring you back to 100%! So that’s Ebay today, not to mention the exorbitant fees that apply even to shipping costs, which are already very high and for which we get nothing in return !!! In short, Ebay is no longer a competitive site like it once was; it has lost a huge number of sellers and customers because of all these mistakes, which today make it a very, very bad selling experience! One word: avoid this platform or you’ll ruin yourself.

Mentor1 year agoHello @bramabiau
You write--> "One single word: flee this platform or you will ruin yourselves."
If what you say is true.... why do you still have 20 listings for sale...???
Would you happen to be a fan of the saying------> "do as I say, not as I do"... ???
Have a good day
Regards
bramabiau
OP1 year agoI replied to Ebay about my intentions and the future removal of my listings; as for you, your profile is empty, so keep your judgment to yourself with your very limited experience! It’s certainly because of people like you that these sites will end up disappearing! Bramabiau.

Mentor1 year agoDear friend....
you've had an account since 2004...
you should know or guess.. (delete as applicable...) that it's safer to post on the forum with an account dedicated to that purpose, which is my case...
So your judgment, skewed by ignorance or deliberately disparaging..... therefore justifies that choice... (which, by the way, has always been recommended by the forum moderators... )
So do what you say...
However, I must thank you for coming....
you're invited to the "reserve for cuckoos"... (since the word b.oite doesn't get through..)
Have a good day as always
Best regards
bramabiau
