Hello
I just sold an item and found that Paypal is no longer active
Ebay informs me to update my bank details or face penalties !!!
First of all, the word is extremely out of place, and since when does a business that takes a commission along the way make such threats? Am I a criminal for €49?
So 4 times I enter my bank account details and 4 times my password, with 4 phone identity verifications ........ just to see that nothing works!
Is this an eBay maneuver to kick me off?
Add to that the impossibility of contacting eBay...
I have doubts about these practices and this site

Mentor3 years agoHello @bruswing
This system has been in place since 2020, and ebay wasn't stingy with mailings about it that year...

·3 years agoHello,
eBay changed how it works quite a while ago.
PayPal is still used for purchases, except the money is sent to the seller's bank account.
That is why you need to update your account.
If you have an issue, eBay customer service can be reached by going through "Help" at the bottom of this page / Contact us.
Best regards.
