Ebay help !
Summary: opman0 is having difficulty returning a defective item on eBay. The seller agreed to accept the return but only provided a postage address instead of a prepaid label. Despite contacting the seller twice, they have not responded. lingma85 explained that if the seller is French, they might be unable to send a prepaid label in pounds as their postal system uses euros. opman0 is seeking advice on how to escalate the issue with eBay.
Just spent an hour going round and round in circles trying to get help from eBay.
I have a defective item to return. The seller has agreed to accept it back. I have started a return request, which the seller has acepted.
However instead of providing me with a prepaid postage lable, he has just sent me a postage address.
I have asked him twice for a prepaid label and now he doesn't reply.
I do not have an option on the return screen to ask eBay to step in. How do I bring this eo eBays notice.
Thanks

Mentor2 years agoHello @opman0
If the seller is French, he cannot send you a prepaid label because it would be in € and your Post Office works with £ and therefore would refuse it...
Best regards
