Hello, thank you for your feedback, it's unfortunate but you've said it all... I hope my comment will help other people. As for me, eBay is blacklisted, they will never see a single cent of my money again, that's the only little leverage I have left against eBay and too bad for me for the rest, this will serve as a lesson to me!
Yes of course, I'm sharing my bad experience. In September 2025, I pre-order an item from a Japanese seller (delivery for December). In December the seller informs me that there is a delay, delivery in January. At the beginning of January the seller tells me he's in the process of preparing the order. After that all my messages to the seller went unanswered. I contacted eBay, they replied that the item wasn't covered by protection (yet they do take the seller's commissions when you buy). After that I reported the listing several times and each time got the same response: "the listing complies with eBay rules". Then I started a dispute process, which redirected me to a POOR form where I'm supposed to sort things out amicably with the seller... For more than a month I sent messages to the seller, he never replied to me! In the end, eBay closed the dispute and when I reported the listing again, as if by chance this time, the listing does not comply with eBay rules and they removed the listing. In this story I lost €280 (of which eBay took a commission). I don't understand that eBay tolerates this kind of practice, if you want to scam buyers on eBay, very simple: post your listing, never ship the package and never reply to messages, and bingo for you, eBay will never come bother you!

Mentor4 months agoHello
That's the problem with pre-orders..
A seller can't offer delivery beyond 30 days, and you had 30 days from the estimated delivery date to report an item not received.
