Auction ended by mistake due to handling error

I’m a new user, and this is the first time I’ve sold here
I clicked on "end sale" after receiving a bid, thinking that was what I was supposed to do. I didn’t know I had to wait.
I think I understand that I’m going to have fees ?
Since this accidental action, the person who bid no longer appears and I can’t get in touch with them.
Thinking I had done the right thing, the jacket will not be sold and will have cost me €20 in fees.
Is it possible to find the person who offered €200 or reactivate the listing to see their contact details again ?

OP1 year agoThe person sent a bid proposal for the buy-it-now amount. Being a novice and enthusiastic, I accepted.
Only after clicking "finish" do I have no contact with this person, so nothing has actually been sold. On the other hand, the fees are indeed charged on a sale that didn’t go through.
I relisted the item for sale

Mentor1 year agoIn addition to the misunderstanding, there is also a handling error: instead of ending the listing by selling the item, you ended it by canceling the bid received.
For eBay, this is therefore a refusal to sell and the fees are due (10%) as if it had been sold:

You won’t find the bidder’s username, unless they place a new bid if you relist the item online..
You will indeed have to pay the commission on the sale that ended prematurely.
