If you’re the one and only bidder... it’s normal that "your" bids aren’t going up..
For anything to move, there have to be several bidders on the same item to start a kind of "battle"..
And then... you might also be one of this seller’s banned usernames...

That's normal...The first bid is on the starting price ...That will change when someone bids higher..
