Recording a bank card for payment of delivery charges
Summary: cryennek is having trouble registering their bank card to generate a shipping label on eBay via Mondial Relay. Although the card is saved and still valid, the payment is being declined. lingma85 suggests using the Mondial Relay website directly and clearing the browser cache. cryennek thinks it's a bug, since they've already tried several browsers.
Hello,
I need to generate a shipping label to send an item via Mondial Relay through Ebay. I successfully saved my bank card in my account so that the amount for the label can be charged. However, when I am on the label creation interface and validate it, the payment is refused and Ebay suggests that I save a bank card.
I have gone through the card registration process a good ten times, and every time it’s the same thing.
I should mention that my bank card is still valid and that my account is not blocked; it works properly and has funds in it.
I’m going around in circles and still can’t find a solution to my problem!
If you have even a small lead, I’d be grateful, thanks in advance!

PS: the old system of paying for labels via Paypal was much more convenient and intuitive!

Instead of going through eBay to pay for Mondial Relay...
go directly to their site.
Link your eBay account to Mondial Relay... it’ll make your life easier...
eBay by Mondial Relay - Send your parcels to Lockers and Relay Points - Mondial Relay
As for your card... it looks like you’re going around in circles.
clear your browser cache after logging out of eBay and everything should be back in place when you log back in..
If that’s not the case.. change browsers.
All of this is valid unless it’s a bug.

I’ll see what I can do on Mondial Relay, I hadn’t thought of that solution.
As for my card, I think it’s a bug because I tried on my Android phone, then on my PC with Brave, then Firefox ... so yes, I can confirm, I’m going in circles!

Your suggestion to link the Ebay account with Mondial Relay’s is a good one; I was able to sort things out and get my shipping label that way.
