friends-and-family payment on eBay doesn't exist... It's only on PayPal.
Doing that amounts to an off-site transaction, which is prohibited by the Terms of Use.
Also, you'll lose eBay's guarantee. In other words, if your seller decides not to send you anything, you'll have no recourse...
