I sold an item, and as a result there are very few options, and on top of that I have to pay the shipping costs, even though I haven’t received the payment. When I checked, it was €15 for shipping, but with the Chronopost that eBay suggested I have to pay €36
What should I do

In your listing you offer Mondial Relay, so you go directly to the carrier's website and create your shipping label ..

"I have to pay the shipping costs" = you do indeed have to advance them (as always on eBay, no prepaid shipping label is provided), but NOTHING requires you to go through the site's shipping platform; you can pay the postage directly on the carrier's site and then enter the tracking number on the eBay order.
The site then transfers to the seller the total = item + postage - commission fees
"while I haven't received the payment" = New seller, the funds will be held for between 14 and 30 days depending on the sale amount, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions
