Hello, In some of my low-priced item listings, I offer tracked letter delivery (the buyer can also choose registered mail, which is more expensive). An eBay employee had explained to me that for a shipment sent as tracked letter, in the event that the product is not received, and as long as I provide the tracking number as proof of shipment, I would not be liable for the sale amount. However, I’ve just had a dispute for a tracked letter that was not received, and to my great surprise eBay is going to take the sale amount back from me. Did the person who gave me that information make a mistake? What exactly does the eBay policy say about this? I can’t find the answer...
