EBAY scam: selling coins
Hello,
I bought a gold Tremissis "Byzantine gold coin" from the seller [Pseudo], a seller based in Spain. I checked the coin by chance after 6 months: no gold or silver, it's just a fake. It seems that at least one or two buyers have encountered this problem with this seller. Do you know if any action is underway or if it is possible to take one?

On eBay, the warranty is 30 days... You should have reacted sooner..
If your payment was made by PayPal, you have 180 days, or check your credit card insurance.
It's not easy to file a complaint against a seller outside France .

Thanks for your reply, indeed I was a bit naive about this purchase, but at that point this seller’s ratings were good and when I had the chance to test this coin it was a bit late.
Ebay advised me to check with paypal, I still had a week left but in fact it’s 180 days and my claim was 3 days too late.
What really gets me angry is that this seller is still on ebay despite my filing a complaint and reporting them on ebay. It’s a bit like being complicit with a **bleep**, as long as ebay doesn’t know I understand they can’t be behind every seller but once the scams have been established, this seller should be banned.
Best regards
