I bought an item but the seller doesn't have an invoice, I would like to have an invoice that proves my purchase, the seller is telling me that eBay can provide me with one....

Ebay doesn't sell anything...
So it's only possible to print the order details from your purchase history and keep proof of payment; you won't have anything else as an "invoice".
