Fake Game Boy cartridges
Summary: harmore33 ordered Game Boy cartridges that turned out to be reproductions, not originals. The seller removed the listings, which prevents harmore33 from leaving feedback or requesting a return. koalagris advises contacting customer service for assistance, while madelodie recommends filing a claim through eBay’s customer guarantee.
Hello,
I recently ordered four Game Boy cartridges from the same seller. They arrived, no issues there.
The problem is that I’ve realized they’re "cartmods" and not genuine original cartridges.
I wanted to leave negative feedback to warn others about this seller’s dishonesty, except the four listings have since been removed because "This listing has been removed following a violation of a rule".
So there’s no way to see the details of each listing, or to leave feedback. And it’s impossible to make a return for the same reason even though it clearly said "returns accepted until...".
How do I go about getting a refund, since in the end I didn’t receive the items I requested?
Kind regards
madelodie
