FAKE STAMPS FROM CHINA
Summary: 13timbre expresses concern about the sale of fake Chinese stamps on eBay, noting that the platform cites the limitations of its artificial intelligence to justify its inability to detect these counterfeits. lingma85 responds by offering additional resources, highlighting the challenges AI presents in detecting fakes and mentioning the involvement of the media and customs in this growing problem. They also say that AI-related errors can be attributed to users’ poor handling and understanding of data.
Ebay accepts sales of fake items coming from China under the pretext that its artificial intelligence can’t detect the fakes
Scupulous sellers thus sell fake stamps with complete impunity, until when will they do nothing?
For profit from sales?

Take a look here------> FAKE " stamps " beware of printed labels... - eBay Community
This thread contains many messages about this problem....
the media have also picked it up, like here for fans of this channel------> Fake stamps account for 8% of counterfeit goods seizures in France (bfmtv.com)
or here.... from Customs------> Customs: unprecedented seizure of 16.7 million counterfeit items on a European scale | economie.gouv.fr

You write------> "Ebay accepts the sale of fakes coming from China on the pretext that its artificial intelligence cannot detect fakes"
AI has its limits and if the site uses it..... we can better understand the problems some sellers have with listings that disappear because of counterfeiting (allegedly).... and others that stay up because this famous AI doesn't recognize them as counterfeit...
Montaigne said "it is better to have a well-made head than a well-filled one".... If AI is fed by well-filled heads... anything is to be expected..... !!! ...( "Mom... I'm scared...")
