"Actual" shipping costs how to enable it?

Hello, I come from another sales platform and I’ve decided to migrate to Ebay, among other things, because of the difficulties related to international sales. I read the guide and it says that there is the possibility of enabling the “Actual costs” option for shipping. This would make it possible to have shipping costs calculated based on buyers’ geographical location and to have a fairer amount.

The problem is that I don’t have the option to tick or enable a box for this very useful option. I called Ebay support and the answer was “you have to estimate the costs yourself from your carrier’s website …”

Any ideas?

Thanks for your replies. However, if you sell internationally and use the standard tool, have you set a flat rate by calculating (on average) the cost of shipping parcels with the site (or some other carrier?) based on the customer’s geographical location?

I don't use the site's shipping platform, but yes, I based it on postal rates (international tracked letter).

So as fixed shipping costs, I only have 2: for shipments under 20 grams and those over 20 grams (I only ship to part of the EU + the UK and Switzerland)

I have also set up rules for fixed shipping fees:

This lets the buyer instantly see the shipping price for multiple purchases without having to ask me.

For example, for pin badges, they will pay 4.60 for the 1st pin, then 0.50 extra per pin added.
