Hello, I bought an electric motor for my pellet stove. And this one broke down after just 1 month of use. So I asked the seller to have the motor covered under warranty since it has a 24-month warranty. He agrees, but won't give me a return slip to send the motor back to him. He says I have to pay the return shipping costs. I would like to know, since the motor has a 24-month warranty, who has to pay the return shipping costs? Because nothing is written in his listing. Best regards.
* eBay's dispute period = 30 days from the delivery date (returns for non-compliance at the seller's expense).
* The 12- or 24-month warranty (depending on the case), which is only between a professional seller and a buyer: this has absolutely nothing to do with eBay (it's impossible to know your seller's after-sales service conditions regarding coverage of return shipping costs).

You shouldn't confuse:
* eBay's dispute period = 30 days from the delivery date (returns for non-compliance at the seller's expense).
