High import fees on a purchase offer accepted at the end of the auction
The import and shipping fees doubled my bid at the end of the auction. The original listing didn't mention fees that high, so I went GLUP GLUP !!! I'm not going through with it, I contacted the seller to let them know and to cancel it. Can you tell me if that's okay? Because I feel like I fell into a trap. Please reassure me, thank you!!!
"Import and shipping fees have doubled x2" you write....
That's normal when buying abroad and not thinking you are an importer who has to pay VAT and customs clearance... and then postage fees are horribly expensive as soon as you buy outside our borders..

Mentor2 years agoBy buying from outside the EU, you become an importer and must pay various fees ..
In the future, find out before buying, that will save the seller from wasting their time ..
