I'm turning to the community to get an answer:
At the beginning of May I bought this item https://www.ebay.fr/itm/405821523724 for €122 (tax and shipping included).
When I received it (within the expected time) I realized it was a clone from a Chinese site (well known) but I kept it because I absolutely needed it.
The seller was responsive during our exchanges.
4 months after the purchase, bad luck, it no longer works and the seller tells me he is on vacation.
What recourse do I have?

No recourse on ebay: the dispute period for non-compliance is 30 days from the delivery date.
So it's up to the seller to handle the warranty (if it's a pro seller); otherwise, see with your payment provider whether there is any recourse through them.
